Tricks to Bypass Windows Autoplay while Plugging an External Drive

This trick will teach you to bypass Windows autoplay while plugging an external drive to your system. This tricks covers for both windows 7 as well as windows 8. Follow the following steps.

For Windows 7

Step 1

Insert an external hard drive or a flash drive.

Step 2

A pop up will be seen on the screen showing you various option.

Step 3

click View more AutoPlay options in Control Panel at the bottom of the menu. This will opens the Control Panel's AutoPlay dialog box.

Step 4

In the Software and games pull-down menu, select Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

Step 5

Select that same option for Pictures, Video files, and Audio files.

This will help you to open directly the explorer when you insert hard disk or the flash drive next time.
